Creed studied fashion design at NMMU in Port Elizabeth and graduated in 2009 with a BTech degree. She spent her fourth year specialising in knitwear specifically, using mohair and other natural fibres. After varsity, she started a business, but was soon offered an amazing job opportunity. She worked at BabyMo for 18 months, designing a mohair fashion range called BabyMo Creed. She was then sent to Cape Town, New York and London to promote the range and learned a great deal about producing mohair and using industrial knitting machinery. After some time, she decided to change career paths and resigned from BabyMo.
She now works in a boutique in Richmond Hill, a lovely, creative hub in Port Elizabeth, while designing her own self-titled collection. She plans on releasing a capsule collection for this summer in late November, which will be available in Camden, Port Elizabeth. See www.nataliecreed.com for contact details, website coming soon!
