Marittie de Villiers exhibits at Hyatt Regency Oubaai

The extraordinary art of Marittie de Villiers has been exhibited at the Hyatt Regency Oubaai Golf Resort and Spa since November 2011.  The Hyatt Regency Oubaai has been the home to some of South Africa’s most profound art and the hotel hosts exhibitions art lovers dream of.  Whether it is uniquely crafted furniture and sculptures or astounding paintings in a variety of mediums – the contemporary design and architecture of the hotel lend itself to exhibiting the very best art South Africa has to offer.  The talent of Marittie de Villiers has been an integral part of the art at the hotel and has been one of the highlights of art lovers visiting the Hyatt Regency Oubaai.

Since the launch of her art exhibition, Layers, at the Hyatt Regency Oubaai in November 2011, the art of Marittie de Villiers has mesmerised audiences throughout South Africa.  Her paintings were exhibited during the “Spring Ball” at the Hyatt Regency Johannesburg at and exhibition organised by Prasa and the Crowie Group.  A collector recently bought a whole exhibition for R100 000 and in February 2013 fashion designer Dennis Lloyd involved her art during his “Fashion Love Story” which was hosted at the Atterbury Theatre.

The Hyatt Regency Oubaai performs an extensive role in supporting the local community and is passionate about furthering home-grown artists. The hotel is proud to play a role in Marittie’s journey and will continue to exhibit her art to ensure that as many as possible people experience and appreciate it.
