Today we have a chat with freelance photographer Sean Konig and he shares some of his breathtaking photography with us.
Who is Sean Konig and what do you do?
Sean Konig is a coffee and music addict as well a freelance photographer in love with being alive and intrigued by everything. Photography to me is a form of meditation as soon as I put my headphones in and start setting up I am in a world everything is possible. (except for licking your nose, that is impossible…)
How would you define your style or art?
I don’t believe I have settled for one style and I don’t think that I am planning to do so in the near future. I love the broad options one has as photographer and I love experimenting with all of them. If I had to choose, I would say that landscape and black and white is my favourite.
What inspires your work?
Live, being part of this amazing event that we wake up to everyday inspires the hell out of me. It is an absolute gift to breathe and experience all of this, why not take some photos while Im here
What are you currently working on?
For the next two to three weeks I will be working on a black and white project telling the story of people in township areas. The aim is to do this photojournalism style. I am also working on a studio project for a clothing company.
What advice would you give young creatives looking to do what you do?
Believe in yourself. Learn the rules, then break them. Take photos with your soul and not your eye, make a connection to your subject. Photography is art just like anything else. Be alive

Jean Claude van Damme or Steven Seagal? (90’s action stars, who do you prefer if you had to choose?)
Shit really? I would go with Steven, he can at least speak English
