Follow up Chat with Photographer Sean Konig

Today we do a young follow up chat with Sean Konig and see what he has been up to since we last spoke to him.

What have you been up to since we last featured you?

I have been working on my ’19 year’s later project’. Fell in love with seascapes and enjoying life.

Tell us about your new project South African Seascape?

I think every South African knows they live in a special place. There is something really special about being on the beach at 4:30 in the morning and capturing that with my Canon just makes it even more special. It’s like meditation.

Where were the images taken and what was the inspiration behind the series?

Most of these shots were taken along the Eastern Cape coast line in the Jeffrey’s Bay area.

What are your creative plans for 2014?

I am really trying to get my work out there, get into galleries, magazines and to make a name for myself as a South African photographer. I want to do a lot more seascapes and I might be in the UK and Scotland at the end of the year for some landscape work.
