Frieze Films comes second at Creative Circle Ad of The Year

At last week’s Creative Circle Ad Of The Year Awards, Frieze Films came second in the film category for their three-spot campaign for Uni-Ball Pens.

Swapped at BirthBust You Out, and Pappy’s Dead hilariously demonstrate the pitfalls of using the wrong font to write a letter, like Broadway to communicate to your child that they were swapped at birth, or Comic Sans to convey a family member’s tragic passing.

The Creative Circle placement is just the latest success for the campaign, which won Bronze at Cannes Lions and The Loerie Awards last year.

Rob Malpage directed the spots, which were conceived by TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris’ creative team of Adam Livesey, Matthew Brink, Vincent Osmond, Sacha Traest and Jade Manning.

“Congrats to Rob and the TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris creative team,” says Frieze Films’ executive producer Jo Barber. “It’s always a pleasure to work on such funny, clever boards.”
