 The AdReview Awards names Bookly ‘Big Idea’ of the year

At the AdReview Awards last night, NATIVE VML’s bookly was named ‘Big Idea’ of the year in the Campaign Awards category.   “We are particularly proud of bookly because it continues to grow from strength to strength, entering new markets and expanding its service offering,” says NATIVE VML CEO, Jason Xenopoulos.

“What began as a simple Mxit e-reader app for feature phones is growing into a fully fledged Literacy Movement. One that is not only encouraging young South Africans to read, but to begin writing stories in their own language as well. Well done to everyone at NATIVE VML, and a massive thank you to Modjaji Books that went on this journey with us.”

NATIVE VML was also named as one of two Runner-up’s in the Best Digital & Integrated Agency category. “Being one of only three finalists in the Best Digital & Integrated Agency category is a great honour and we are proud to have received this recognition,” Xenopoulos concludes.
