Win a trip to Sweden! Get exhibited! Get published! Creatively capture and interpret a Swedish innovation through the lens of your camera. Do it in South African Style. Together we’ll create something COMPLETELY South African and COMPLETELY Swedish! Entries are welcome until September 7.
Using photography, interpret a Swedish innovation in a South African context. Smart, out-of-the-box entries, which capture the ‘spirit’ of South Africa will be selected to form part of an exhibition (venues and dates TBA) and a publication. The overall winner wins a trip to Sweden!
The competition is open to all South Africans. Any camera device (professional, cell phone or other photo equipment) can be used. Contestants are welcome to use photographic editing software. The winner and finalists are named by a jury of South African and Swedish dignitaries. The decision of the jury cannot be overruled.
Entries are welcome until midnight on September 7 2014.
Up to ten entries can be sent per photographer.
The aim of this competition is to draw attention to the importance of innovation and creativity for societal development, and to celebrate the long friendship between South Africa and Sweden.
