Its’ sell is as sizzling as the fireworks that light up the lives of some dour office workers desperate for a bargain. It’s a rather slickly demonstrated human truth: R15 and quality don’t usually go hand-in-hand, but now Chicken Licken’s BangBang has revolutionised that notion. The ad opens with office workers comparing what they have bought for R15 – from an antique mug to an assassination attempt on the boss – and, of course, these purchases don’t deliver on what they promised. Until, finally, one sussed dude finds the sweet spot, tucking into a quality meal.
