The Interactive Advertising Bureau of South Africa (IAB) has appointed Lion’s Wing Brand Communications to administer its public relations management after an industry-wide pitch for the account. The IAB SA represents a large member base from the online content industry, including online publishers, brands, educational institutions, creative agencies, media agencies, and digital agencies.
IAB CEO Josephine Buys states, “We are enthusiastic to see greater awareness about the work we do for our members and selected Lion’s Wing because of the agency’s ability to look beyond traditional communications to get our message across. We are sure that the association will be mutually beneficial.”
Says Lion’s Wing MD, Greg Forbes. “The passion that the bureau has for its members is contagious and we look forward to supporting them in achieving the organisation’s mandate. In addition, we share a passion for data and research, and we are excited about the possibilities for engaging content created by the vast amount of valuable digital information gathered by IAB research.”
Lion’s Wing is already working at a number of strategies to support the IAB in its wide scope of operation.
