“We congratulate Sadie on this great achievement and are privileged to have her as part of our lecturing team at DSSA. The school has always maintained that we offer our students a learning environment that ensures that they are work ready through hands on industry exposure as well as lecturers who are innovators that are tapped into industry. Sadie’s win and the industry recognition is further testament to this,” says head of school at DSSA, Liezl Van Zyl.

The DFF fashion awards form part of the week long fair which is hosted annually by the eThekwini Municipality. It was established to pay respect to pioneers and innovators in the fashion industry and recognise their work both on and off the ramp.
