A distinctive art concept is set to bring hidden creatives to light with its first ever social art and fashion exhibition, Night in the Garden, in Johannesburg at a cool secret venue on the 7th of November 2015.
Night in the Garden will be a concoction of cocktails, cool art, fashion and music and it’s expected to welcome both the young creative crowd and more mature collectors. Guests will be introduced to diverse works of visual artists and fashion designers whom will each be given a space in the “enchanted garden” to showcase their magic. Exhibitors include visual artists:Alternative Visuals, The Craft ZA, Siviwe Scwebu and Thabiso Molatlhwa and fashion designers: Kreative Beings, The Uniqueconz, Trill and Tailored and Trnsd 90. The buzzing creatives will be not only showcase their craft; they will be marketing, interacting and exposing themselves to their familiar and new audience who will be supporting and building connections with the faces behind the brands.
The organisers visualised the space to be “a platform to celebrate and promote of up-and-coming artists who influence Joburg’s creative street culture. The idea is to have stalls at the event where the artists would be able to sell their work and of course be able to network with the people.” explains Lebo Mashigo. “We want to give the unknown artists a platform to shine and with our selection, we feel we have chosen the best. We are also starting out ourselves so what better way than with us!” adds Selloane Moleli.
The event has already scooped sponsorship from gaming brand PlayStation and with the venue still on the hush; we can only imagine what a thrilling night it will be. Tickets will be sold for R100 at the door so sign up here for more updates and ticket discounts: http://bit.ly/NITG2015
