 Success tastes better shared

Grant’s Whisky, together with Creative Nestlings have travelled across South Africa as part of the #IOU #StandTogether campaign to thank 15 friends that have contributed significantly to the success of Creative Nestlings by acknowledging each one in a video series has been shared publicly. These 15 phenomenal individuals who are like family to Creative Nestlings have supported, inspired and guided the Creative Nestlings team, and without them the NEST would not have made it in the creative industry.

“Throughout our creative journey, we have met many extraordinary people that have helped us along the way – friends, family, colleagues and strangers. We seldom get a chance to thank them properly, let alone acknowledge them publicly so we’ve decided to share a bottle of Grant’s Whiskey with them which they can later share with their friends,” comments Dillion S. Phiri, Founder and Creative Director of Creative Nestlings.

On Saturday, 7 November 2015,  Creative Nestlings hosted their second #ConversationsOnCreativity for 2015  at 6 Spin Street, Cape Town. They launched the  #IOU Video Series with Grant’s Whisky at the much-anticipated event and the afternoon was filled with dialogue, information sharing and entertainment. Conversations on Creativity is an on-going event that brings together creative influencers from around the world and the youth to connect and engage on topics about creativity.
The guest speakers included Sindiso “R!OT” Nyoni  –  a Zimbabwean self-developed artist, activist, multi-disciplinary designer and contemporary illustrator; Didintle Ntsie – a serial collaborator, change maker and a regular speaker at events who enjoys to connecting the dots and making things happen; Andrew Simelane – co-founder of Blacknation, a ground-up digital media group that produces a bi-monthly e-magazine, daily Youtube shows and ad-hoc web content and Tiisetso Molobi –  an influencer and founder of Urban Mosadi.“These are the individuals that have stood out the most, the friends that have played an important role in both our personal and professional development,” explains Phiri.
