Liesl Karpinski and the Spitfire Films team are excited to announce the launch of NODE CONTENT.TV, a brand new content division powered by Spitfire Films, Produce Sound and Aces Post.
NODE CONTENT.TV successfully launches with its first job for BMW – the first piece of local content produced by the prestigious European brand in five years. This project by agency Open Co. placed importance on speaking directly to the local market, creating a uniquely South African piece that NODE CONTENT.TV is appropriately a part of.
Spitfire’s Markstry, who is an integral member of the company, and an up and coming young Creative in the industry, directed the content.
The production house manages to shoot three spots in three days without loosing quality and keeping it premium. The small crew were able to work smarty and quickly, resulting in a successful collaboration between agency and production house.
Markstry has many accolades, including ‘Best Film’ at the Durban Film Festival in 2010. His talent for the technical is backed by an unflinching commitment to his craft and an inclination for the Internet and how it offers more mileage for your budget. He is motivated by making films that do more than just meet the mandate and is an integral part of the Spitfire, and now Node, team.
NODE CONTENT.TV offers training to qualified film students and their various partnerships allow training for sound engineering, film production, animation and directing. NODE CONTENT.TV has all relevant facilities in house, such as edit suite and recording studios. This meaningful procurement partner also allows students to buy/own shares within the company.
Founded by Executive Producer Liesl Karpinski, an industry leader and working mom, whose main mission is to break the traditional advertising stereotypes and open doors for young creatives. The company is more than just a placeholder and exists for the genuine reason of giving back and giving meaning.
The new division aims to break creativity rules and go the extra mile for clients in a spunky and innovative way, as the naughty sister of Spitfire, who pride themselves on their #MastersofContent tagline.
