Created in 2019 by Emily Roniger, five o’clock is a Cape Town based slow fashion brand that focuses on unique hand embroidery.
Each step in creating a product is thoughtfully made and with the intention to create something unique every time.
Inspired by the cathartic art of hand embroidery, five o’clock is all about slowing down your mind and body by using creative expression.
Every product is locally made – from fabrics to thread to the hand embroidery, it is all proudly made with love and care in the Mother City
five o’clock supports the Westlake local community by teaching them a variety of skills that provide them with jobs.
Checkout their collection of T-shirts, purses, tote bags, face masks and DIY embroidery kits below.

And we’re back! Taking the month of September to work on a special project was exactly what I needed? It has kept me inspired and encouraged in bringing my all to my next few commissions? As it stands I am booked until late November but will be accepting a few more commission orders for this year!
