Alan is a Producer, Event Producer, Published Author, Songwriter, Voice artist and the co-creator of South African children’s brand Beautiful Creatures. They have released seven albums, and five books have two platinum and four gold albums in South Africa, as well as two SAMA nominations and a Naledi award.
His children’s book about anxiety ‘Oliver’s Outline’ was published by Pan Macmillan in 2015, and he toured South Africa with internationally acclaimed UK children’s author Julia Donaldson. In 2016 his production company ‘Fried Glass’ collaborated with The Drum Café and produced the opening ceremony for the global CITES Cop 17 environmental conference for 3000 delegates.
Alan’s career began writing and performing with the acclaimed accapella cabaret group ‘Not the Midnight Mass’ in 1988. He subsequently co-founded a media and advertising company GMR Transit Media, as well as production and event company ‘Fried Glass’.

Tshego is a former Drama Commissioning Editor at the SABC, and Executive Producer at e.tv, and currently works as an independent Screenwriter and Storyliner having written for Mzansi Magic’s Isibaya, Ikhaya and Abomama, SABC 1’s Thuli noThulani, My Perfect Family, Single Guyz & Single Galz, SABC 3’s Isidingo, and SABC 2’s Ga re dumele. Tshego was also Head Writer on Mopani, a thirteen part coming of age love story set in Venda, around the practice of Musangwe, an age-old, bare-fist fighting tradition that serves as a rite of passage for young men.
Tshego has facilitated script workshops for writers in the Mpumalanga province and was Script Mentor and Script Facilitator for the NFVF 2018 youth development slate.
Tshego is an author and has written two romance novels, Poetry of Love and Three dates which were published by Kwela Books’ Sapphire Press. Her third novel, Three Sisters was self-published and tells the story of three different women who suffer abuse at the hands of their partners. Three Sisters was named one of the top six books of 2016 by online platform, Okay Africa.
Tshego is Executive Producer at her production company, MonaLisa Productions and directed her web series, The single diaries of a Jozi Girl, which is the adaptation of her romance novels. The single diaries of a Jozi Girl launches in September 2018.
