Award-winning integrated (TTL) Creative Director and Head of Creative across both the Johannesburg and Cape Town offices of Creative Spark—the 70-strong digital specialist arm of the M&C Saatchi group of companies in South Africa.
With over 10 years in the marketing and advertising industry, Ernst has worked on a number of blue chip clients, such as Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Lexus, Danone, Philips, Kimberly Clark, Vodacom, MTN, DStv, Showmax and Investec Private Bank, to name a few.
As of late 2017, Ernst has assembled and led the new technical/interactive design department of Creative Spark—adding user experience design, copywriting and and user interface design and testing specialities to bolster the agency’s already strong marketing offering.
Ernst has served on industry advisory panels for a number of South African tertiary institutions—most recently The AAA School of Advertising and North-West University, and sits on both the Agency and Marketing Councils of the IAB.
