Furio Tedeschi- the man behind Food chats to us

Happy Friday creatives! Today we showcase some work from Food aka Furio Tedeschi. His animation is mind blowing and a fitting start to the new year! Please enjoy and don’t be afraid to comment! I officially welcome you to the new year!

Who is Food and what do you guys do?

Food is me Furio Tedeschi – I’m a freelance artist working in video games, movies and the toy industry. I have worked for clients and projects such as Lucas Arts, Activision, Halo 4, Pacific Rim, Mcfarlane Toys and resident evil, to name a few.

How would you define your style or art?

My art style is defined by many things I like and difficult for me to define or categorize.

I like to get involved with things I can have fun with and through trial and error have developed certain techniques in the applications I use.

What inspires your work?

Many Things, probably too many too mention here, but one of my earliest memories was my parents’ Frazetta paintings they had up in their home and later on anime became a big influence.

What are you currently working on?

Unfortunately I’m not able to disclose what I am currently busy with, however I have just finished up some work on statues for McFarlane toys, some box art for AMD Sapphire Graphics cards.

What advice would you give young creatives looking to do what you do?

Make sure you love what you are doing, learn the fundamentals and make time for your art, don’t just talk about it

Where can our readers follow your work?

Here are some communities I contribute to and personal sites

MC Hammer or Vanilla Ice (who do you prefer if you had to choose?)

Haha If you had asked me that when I was 10 years old I would have probably said both
