In partnership with the Loeries, Cinemark is hosting an exhibition of Loeries work in Cape Town from Wednesday 17 September to Friday 19 September. The exhibition will showcase some of the most innovative creations in the industry, giving viewers a chance to immerse themselves in works of some of South Africa’s top creatives.
“This is an opportunity to experience cinema and have the latest cinema environment developments highlighted in the speech to be delivered by Scott Lawrence, Sales Manager at Cinemark,” comments Marketing Manager for Cinemark, Tshireletso Yvonne Diogo.
On 17 September, the programme will kick off at 18h00 where guests will be able to access the exhibition and view all of 2013 work displayed in the cinema foyer and on the mezzanine level function area. From 18h30, the cocktail function will begin, giving guests a chance to rub shoulders and get into the swing of the festivities. At 19h45, Scott Lawrence will give his cinema milestone speech and CEO of Loeries, Andrew Human, will talk about the partnership with Cinemark. At 20h00 guests will be treated to the screening of a movie.
Taking place at the V&A Waterfront, winning work from the Loerie Awards 2013 will be on display from 09h00 to 18h00 on 17 September, 09h00 to 21h00 on 18 September and 09h00 to 21h00 on 19 September. Entrance is Free.
Last year Cinemark hosted the Loeries Exhibition at Ster-Kinekor Office Park in Johannesburg. Diogo says the team are delighted to be bringing this exhibition to the heart of Loeries Creative Week at Ster-Kinekor V&A Waterfront.
She says, “This is an opportune moment for brand communications professionals and aspiring young talent to see winning work from 2013 and benchmark the growth of the local industry accordingly.”
