October 08, 2015 saw the launch of the new Hunter Cycling brand at the Kalashnikovv Gallery in Braamfontein.
The launch featured an exhibition of three contemporary bicycles, limited edition posters inspired by the range, two classic bicycles and an e-commerce store for Hunter Cycling. The new brand, range and website is the outcome of a collaboration between the multidisciplinary design studio, Henn+Honeyball and Hunter Cycling. The aim was to produce contemporary products inspired by the classic style and heritage of the sport.
Castle Draught 1895 sponsored the event and commissioned a classic bicycle in celebration of EcoMobility World Festival 2015. This bicycle will be on display at the SAB Miller head office for the duration of the festival.
The event featured a bicycle ride from Hunter Cycling’s new store at 27 Boxes in Melville, to the Kalashnikovv Gallery in Braamfontein.
The exhibition is on from Thursday, 08 October to Saturday, 10 October 2015.
