Precious Kofi used to be quite an actress with quite a successful career, but finally decided to follow her dreams.

Precious Kofi’s life before art

Precious Kofi later moved to Boulder Colorado and still resides there. Before she spend her time painting beautifully vivid and colourful paintings, she was a very successful actress. In the year 2006, Precious Kofi was the host of her own talk show, “Keeping It Real with Precious”. That same year, Precious Kofi was cast as one of the lead voice characters in URBO: The Adventures Of Pax Africa, an animated series. Both of these shows were tremendously successful and popular amongst the citizens in our country. A year later she played a part in a series, “Divers Down”. The drama series is about a group of young Navy recruits. She has also had guest roles in “Without a Trace”, “Tsha Tsha” and “Zone 14”. She continued to gain popularity as an actress and fans were sad to see her leave the world of acting.

Her career as an artist

Precious Kofi made her artistic debut at Boulder Arts week earlier this year. She had been selected as an Exhibiting “Artist in the Muse” out of 110 other local artists. This was an amazing honor for the upcoming artist and her career in the visual world is only gaining attraction. Especially from local publications interested about a South African television personality that has a successful art career in the States. Precious Kofi is also a part of the “It’s not Black and White” group exhibit which features the work of 31 Colorado artists. The artists depict social issues that have meaning to them. Some of the proceeds from sold prints are donated to the “Black Love Mutual Festival”, which shows art exclusively from black artists. Some proceeds also ago to “Headwaters Protectors”, who help provide water and trash services to the homeless. Precious Kofi has also recently been accepted into “Artist in residence program”. There she will join other international artists on a prestigious journey within France. Although Kofi’s artistic career has just begun, it seems to have no chance of slowing down.
